Packard Bell Viseo 230ws playstation 3

This is just in case you find yourself stuck and somehow happen to stumble across this piece of information:

Attempting to setup a new 120GB PS3 Slim with a Packard Bell Viseo 230ws using a HDMI - DVI cable, The Packard Bell Viseo 230ws wouldn't accept the HDMI input from the PS3 Slim 120Gb via the HDMI-DVI cable, the screen constantly displayed Input Not Supported.

The output was working via the AV Multi to a shit old TV I had.

Plugging a DSUB VGA in allowed the screens own menu to be brought up and DVI-D selected as the input source. The screen went blank but still refused to accept the input.

Eventually a separate monitor was attached to the PS3 Slim 120GB which then accepted the input from the HDMI-DVI cable. Swapping the cables back over the the Packard Bell Viseo 230ws then gave a picture.

Lol, wow. didn't expect to ever get a reply to this one!

It worked consistently once we got it going too. Just needed that one time working, then the PB screen picked it up fine from there after.

Try connecting the PS3 to an alternate HDMI monitor, then leave it running and swap the cables back.

Good Luck.
